Soulful fabrics and wallcoverings
New York-based Lori Weitzner has been internationally known for her contributions to the world of textiles and wallcoverings for more than thirty years. As VP and Design Director of Weitzner Limited, Lori brings her signature aesthetic and sophisticated colour sense to all of the brand’s textiles and wallcoverings.
At her Manhattan studio, known as the White Box Sanctuary, Lori and her team explore inspiration in material form. This could mean spending a day drawing, painting, making stencils or collaging torn paper—all of which can become the jumping off point for a fabric weave or wallcovering pattern. With the time-old tools of colour, texture, and pattern, Weitzner creates materials that engage the senses and evoke curiosity, calm, and beauty.
